Curling is so weird but I’ve heard it’s awesome to play.
That being said, I watched some curling when I was younger on days home from school. When nothing good was on I would watch curling.
Having never seen it done live, it was quite a treat to visit the Rochester Curling Club. Originally founded by Eastman Kodak employees in 1961, it was housed at the old downtown campus of Rochester Institute of Technology. In 1965 the club moved to its current location at 71 Deep Rock Road, over behind the airport near RITs newer West Henrietta campus.
There was a wide variety of players on the ice, ranging from 12 year veterans, to people who picked up a broom just last week.
Here are my favorites:

Ross Lancaster, 21 third year Computer Science from Cleveland Ohio, slides on the ice as he releases the curling stone. Lancaster attends the Curling Wellness Class held at the Rochester Curling Club.

Calvin Reedy, 21 fourth year Information and Security and Forensics from Guilderland, New York, sweeps in front of the stone. Reedy does this to help the stone reach its target.

Nick Borden, 23 second year Computer Science from Troy New York, runs after the curling rock.

Aaron Delahanty, 22, fifth year Mechanical Engineering from Ithaca, New York, talks to Randy Pikuet about curling.
